Video conferencing and meetings

est. 45min

 💡 After this training:

  • The learner knows how to use different video conference options and their basic functions.

👀 How to coordinate this training:

  1. Discussion
  • What kind of video applications have you used before? What kind of experience do you have with them?

  • On a computer? On a mobile device? Tablet?

  • How do you join a meeting?

Alternatively, you can show the list as examples and ask if they have seen or used these applications before, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.

2. Demonstrate

Focus on the use of video applications used in the workplace, such as Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, or applications learners might use in their lives.

Find a video explaining how the application works, which devices it can be used on, and how it can be used, such as a computer browser, computer application, or mobile application.

  1. Additional task

Create a meeting link and share it with learners. Learners can join the meeting to see how it works, but please ensure that the audio doesn't echo. It is recommended to have earphones for the learners who join the meeting and to learn to mute their own devices to avoid any echoing.
