👀 How to coordinate this training:


1. Demonstrate and explain

Watch the video or you can demonstrate the word processing of your choice using the list of features. The videos and the list of features to go through for demonstrations help you plan how to explain them step-by-step.

2. Discussion questions and check everyone's answers together.

Discuss the following topics together:

  • Have you used a word processor before? What have you used it for?

  • For what purpose can the word processor program be used?

3. Exercise

Check the instructions below, or here is a short explanation. 1) Select one (1) word processing application and open a new document. 2) Create a text document in accordance with the model and instructions. 3) Save the text document on your device or cloud service.


4. Additional exercise

Use a cloud service like Google Drive or OneDrive, make a folder and move the document to the folder. Share the document with the trainer. Watch the video on how to use Google Drive or Beginner's Guide to OneDrive for Windows demonstrate it on your computer.

Basic Document Management

Instructions for the exercise

1. Choose a word processing application and open a new document.

2. To the document header, type your own name (First name Last name) and the document´s name

(Exercise). Add both the page number and the current date to the header according to the model.

3. Type the rest of the text according to the model using the correct document layout.

4. Add a numbered list. Instead of the lines, type three (3) office applications that are suitable for work

and study purposes.

5. To “In this exercise I am using the following application: __________________.” instead of the line,

type the name of the word processing application you are using.

6. Choose, in your opinion, the most important office application and make it bold.

7. Save the document to your own device or to a cloud service.
